The parish of Lewannick includes the villages of Lewannick, Trevadlock, Plusha and Polyphant.
Ordinary Parish Council meetings are being held each 3rd Tuesday of every month at 7:30pm (except August and January when there are normally no meetings) at Lewannick Village Hall.
Important Information for Lewanick Parish:
A30 Kennards House to Fivelanes safety improvements – overnight closures at the Plusha junction for surveys Monday 22 to Friday 26 July
National Highways is carrying out surveys and investigations to help identify opportunities to improve safety on the A30 between Kennards House and Fivelanes and will soon be carrying out surveys at the Plusha junction. These will be done overnight between 8pm and 6am, when the traffic levels are lower.
During the day the road will be open as usual.
Closure information
There will be lane closures on the A30 around the Plusha junction between Monday 22 and Friday 26 July from 8pm to 6am each night. At least one lane will remain open in each direction.
On Tuesday 23 July, we’ll also be closing the Plusha junction from 9pm to 6am. You will be able to drive through the junction on the A30, but the slips and crossover will be closed. We’ll reopen the junction by 6am Wednesday 24 July.
A diversion will be in place via the B3254 and B3257. For access to the services during the closure, please use the B3257.
This work is subject to favourable weather conditions, for example heavy rain may affect the progress.
